Your renewal shouldn't be a surprise
In experience-rated workers' compensation schemes, premium depends on wages, an industry rate and a performance rating driven by roughly three years of claims history, and most teams learn the outcome once a year, at renewal. Premium Online turns your claims history into a forward view of premium-relevant cost exposure by site, driver and claim, so safety, HR and finance can act before renewal.
The machine-learning part is declared for what it is: a signal from a retrospective study on a single historical claims dataset, not yet validated prospectively or across organisations. What you can inspect today is deterministic: a driver tree, site ranking, a three-year window and what-if scenarios for cost exposure.
Status Concept & research

The problem
By the time an employer learns next year's premium, the claims behind it are old news. Claims live in spreadsheets, and nobody can say which sites, injury types or open claims are driving next year's cost. Budgets swing, and safety investment is hard to justify in dollars.
How it works
- 01
A driver tree breaks premium-relevant cost into frequency, duration and cost per day, so teams know which lever moves the number.
- 02
Sites are ranked and compared, with alerts when one drifts from the company average.
- 03
A three-year window shows when each claim rolls off the rating period.
- 04
What-if scenarios show what a new claim, a closed claim or a cost change does to cost exposure before it happens.
What it doesn't do
- It does not calculate your official premium. Your insurer or scheme does that. It estimates premium-relevant cost exposure.
- It does not forecast next year's premium yet; the research signal still has to be validated prospectively.
- It does not decide claim strategy, reserves or return-to-work plans.
- It does not publish performance figures until pilots have measured them on your own renewals.
Questions
Does it replace my insurer's premium calculation?
No. It estimates premium-relevant cost exposure. The official calculation belongs to your insurer or scheme; you'll just arrive at renewal knowing what shaped it.
How well does it work?
That is exactly what design-partner pilots have to measure. We'll compare estimates with each real renewal and show you the error. We make no performance claims before that.
What data would I need to provide?
A claims extract with dates, status and incurred costs, and your premium history with wages and rating per period. Data arrives by upload; no system integration is needed to start.
Put agents to work on a real problem, with your people in charge.
Bring us one process you want off your team's plate. We'll tell you if coordinated agents fit it, and what it takes to run them at a standard you can sign off on. Validating is cheaper than building, so that's where we start.
