Who's behind it
Kaikaku Labs was created by Rodrigo Souza, an engineer who grew up inside real companies, not just presentations. He began on the quality and audit side, working with ISO 9001, ISO 14000, GMP, HACCP and safety standards, learning how systems, routines and people actually hold a business together. From there he moved into Falconi (INDG) as a senior consultant, and later into executive roles leading operations, commercial strategy and finance across different countries and cultures, especially in the global meat and FMCG industry.
His academic path combines Food Engineering with advanced training in production and operations, finance, auditing, controlling and valuation, now complemented by formal studies in Data Science at USP. The way he thinks is straightforward: clear goals, numbers on the table, strong cause-and-effect logic and a constant push for people to grow with the challenge instead of hiding behind process or hierarchy.
Kaikaku Labs was born when Rodrigo saw the limit of ‘continuous improvement’ alone. A whole generation built ISO, PDCA and better processes, yet many companies still live in noise: too much data, bad routines, unclear ownership and weak decisions. The name Kaikaku (改革) means radical change, not just polishing what already exists. It reflects how Rodrigo sees his work: bring clarity and transparency into the chaos, organize knowledge and real-world wisdom, and then create a true breakthrough in how companies decide, execute and win.
